Our Music Teacher, Mr. Doogan-Smith, offers a wide variety of choices for the novice to experienced musician.
From Concert Choir to Jazz Band and Beginning Guitar to Concert Band, there's something for any student interested in exploring the world of music.
Each year, students who are part of our Music program have the opportunity to travel to many locations; from Whistler to Cuba, and points in between.

~ Art is food. You can't eat it but it feeds you.
Studio art classes follow a progression of building skills and knowledge-base to more advanced processes, techniques and accountability. Beginning in Grade 8 & 9, students explore formal & expressive aspects of art-making in more structured projects and assignments. The Grade 10, 11 & 12 classes are generally blocked together and run in
an Open Studio format, where there is flexibility for student-directed personal and collaborative projects, evolving creatively as a studio artist would work. Projects vary widely with media (drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media) from prescriptive to experimental, and often there are opportunities for exhibition and connection with our community outside the school.
